About me

.A brief multi-paragraph introduction about me

Greetings everyone,

Welcome to my website, Atra Aripa Pars. This name is an inseparable part of who I am, and it truly brings me joy to see people visiting and remembering it.

I am Khashayar from Iran, an ordinary computer user who loves using his keyboard so much that the keys might just stop working one day (I really love typing (: ).

It has been several years since I entered the world of programming, software development, and game development. Before that, I used to write stories. I always wondered how I could take these stories beyond the realm of mere words, and that is how I discovered game development. As I pursued game making, I was introduced to programming languages. At first, I started learning HTML and CSS, but after a short while, I left them behind and turned to C#. I wanted to work with Unity, but for practice, I decided it would be better to learn WinForms first to grasp the concepts deeper. Right there, I realized I had a huge passion for software development as well. For a while, I focused solely on software development before wanting to return to game making. I first began with MonoGame, then discovered Godot, and I still use them to this day.

It might sound surprising, but I still haven’t actually gone back to Unity, even though it was the very reason I started programming in the first place (: .

About a year or a year and a half ago (though a lot of time might have passed since I wrote this and I may not have updated it (: ), I came across a programming language that I initially just wanted to work with for no specific reason. It didn’t matter to me that I could have chosen better options. That language was D. I even created a D language developers’ channel and group on Telegram, and I would be delighted if you joined.

By now, it has been roughly 3 to 4 years since I first encountered HTML and the world of programming, yet I feel I haven’t even discovered a tiny drop in this vast ocean.

I still write just like the old days; I have written short and long books, texts, and poems, some of which I have published on Telegram. On this website, I also plan to share documentation, articles, and stories.
